Corrective Rehabilitative Exercises

If you are an athlete or active person struggling with an injury, part of your recovery plan many involve Corrective Rehabilitative Exercises. The body contains mobile joints (such as the ankle and hip) and stable joints (like the knee and low back). If a mobile joint is injured, the knee might become mobile and cause you additional pain.

During this program, we will identify the direct source of injury and the effects on the rest of the body. Next, we will strengthen weak areas by training you in new exercises that reduce strain on overworked muscles while preventing injury reoccurrence. You will be personally coached on a series of functional movements designed specifically for your injury. Exercises and stretches are taught on site and can easily be performed at home with little to no special equipment.

During Dr. Tabassum Ali's formal education as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, she studied the latest techniques and advances in preventative and sports medicine. Functional exercises, along with Myofascial Release, Functional Taping, and Chiropractic Adjustments, can help you move beyond the pattern of pain and get back to peak physical shape.
